Our growing season is typically from early May until late September. While we are typically considered a very dry city as far as precipitation goes, we have been known to get some spectacular thunderstorms that drop hail and rain. There have also been 12 tornadoes recorded in the Edmonton area.
Overall Edmonton has an enjoyable climate for the majority of the year. When the weather is not playing nice there are a million things to do from dining, playing and activities around the city.
